Avoca Mill Guided Tours

About
The Avoca Mill Tour is a unique Irish experience like no other. On this interactive cultural tour, the friendly team of expert weavers will chat away to visitors while they work, explaining the full traditional weaving process – from raw wool to the finished product(demonstrations are subject to weaver availability).
Maintaining centuries-old weaving traditions, the Avoca weavers still use a handloom alongside modern weaving machines, proving that some things really never go out of fashion!
After a visit to The Mill, visitors can spend time browsing Avoca’s amazing collection of colorful throws and woolen mill products in the onsite retail store. You can also choose to relax and enjoy a freshly baked selection of cakes and delicious homemade lunch dishes from the world-class café.
